October 13 hotfix context
Official notes fix Gragu possession, Proxima weapon re-equipping after cancellation and Genessa clone issues; Tiel clone effects also change. This patch check does not replace the October 2 route-source review.

| Shell | Route landmarks | Unlock condition |
|---|---|---|
| Tiel | Widow’s Overlook → southeast search area → grave → inhabit Tiel. | An early map marker; no Shellkeeper reveal purchase is needed. |
| Proxima | Blackridge Pass → northeast → Shattered Beacon dungeon → body at the rear. | An early map marker; the body is inside the dungeon. |
| Eredrim | Citadel of Penance → lower levels/elevators → The Warden → claim the body. | A Warden encounter separates reaching the location from claiming the Shell. |
| Smert | Outskirts of Nochte → southwest ritual circles → blood offerings → corpse. | An offering sequence; published guides differ on the count, so follow unfilled circles and prompts. |
| Gragu | Temple of Vatra → Heart of Vatra → One Legged Wolf Tavern → Gragu. | A quest-item hand-in; finish nearby exploration before committing the item. |
| Genessa | Revenant Graves → Sester Secundus → Sester’s Censer → Genessa in Marrow Keep. | A Censer quest chain, not an ordinary Shellkeeper reveal purchase. |
| Lazlo | High Lords Courtyard → Royal Crypts → Vellen → body beyond the encounter. | The Vellen encounter and the room beyond it are separate checks. |
| Sariel | The Silent Steps → Sariel encounter → Chamber of Becoming → final rematch. | A pursuit and rematch; the first victory is not the finished unlock. |
Discover first, invest deliberately
Finding a body, revealing its location and upgrading its bond are different actions. A Shellkeeper map reveal is a navigation service; it should not be described as the purchase price of the playable Shell. The linked routes let you pursue the pickup without assuming that buying a hint completes any local fight, offering or quest interaction.
Use current in-game tooltips for abilities, prices and stats. Route references are attributed; these are not claims of our own hands-on testing.
Quick questions
Is Harros included in the eight?
This table covers the eight selectable Shell routes. The separate Harros prologue archive is not counted as a normal roster pickup.
Does a map reveal complete the unlock?
No. Finish the body interaction, encounter or quest condition and confirm the selection menu.
