October 13: NG+ Ova availability is a narrower claim
The October 13 official hotfix says players can collect three extra Ovas in the final slice dungeon in NG+. September 24’s statement that Bring my Ova Back to me was not fixed described that earlier patch. A newer update has now shipped, so the old statement must not be presented as the latest availability status.
The new note does not explicitly guarantee that Bring my Ova Back to me unlocks for every player or that all old saves receive a retroactive award. Distinguish the collectible availability change from your platform’s achievement result. Check NG+ state, the final dungeon, the in-game count and platform achievement screen before deciding to replay a long route. Do not delete a save or assume NG+ is a universal requirement for every trophy.
Two names, different evidence
September 24 reports a fix for Seeking the Past, without promising every old save a retroactive unlock. Its edit explicitly left Bring my Ova Back to me unresolved in that patch. October 13 now adds three extra Ovas in the final NG+ dungeon; distinguish that new collection opportunity from a guaranteed platform achievement award.
Record the state before replaying
Confirm the platform achievement name, your installed game version and the progress shown in the game. Take your own screenshot of the relevant counter or completed objective. A checklist tick on this website is a personal note, not proof that the platform has awarded an achievement.
Check whether your platform is online and whether its achievement screen has refreshed. These are general diagnostic steps, not a guarantee of a particular game-specific repair. Avoid repeating hours of collection until you know which condition is actually missing.
What to include in a useful report
Record the achievement, platform, game version, completion action and what you expected to happen. Mention whether the save began before or after the update and whether the issue repeats. Keep account identifiers and private save data out of a public post.
For a supported fix, follow the developer’s current instructions. If no recovery steps are published, distinguish “the bug is listed as fixed” from “this save is confirmed repaired.” Do not invent a new-game requirement from a single player’s experience.
Protect your progress
Do not delete your save, disable cloud features or overwrite your only backup just to try an unverified achievement workaround. If you keep a personal checklist, export it before switching browsers. Website progress and game progress are separate systems.
Continue with a different objective when the official notes acknowledge an unresolved issue. The planner can preserve your next steps without promising an unlock date. Revisit the official feed before attempting the same route again.
